Astronomy Problems of the Week:

Puzzle #1:

A man and woman go out for their daily walk. They walk together hand-in-hand, almost at arm’s length. Afterwards the woman states that she thinks she walked four miles. The man says he walked 5-6 miles. Can they both be correct? If so, how?

Puzzle #2:
Based on the figure below, how much more sunlight does Minneapolis receive during a summer day than in winter? What are the main factors that cause this difference?
