The University of Arizona Astronomy Club would like to welcome you to our website. Our goal is to inspire and assist anybody interested in space and the sciences. We have many opportunities to work on astronomy projects with other students and faculty that care about astronomy education. Meeting Minutes

  • We have the opportunity to work with a 4th grade Astronomy Club in Texas via webcam once or twice a month. More details will be posted soon.
  • We will be meeting to work on the Extrasolar Planet Project on Saturday, September 19th at 10am in Steward Observatory room 208. If you do not have access to the building, please call Kevin at (208) 440-4650.
  • Next week our adviser, Dr. John Bieging will be making an appearance at our meeting to introduce himself.
  • We will try to work on our Local Group Project sometime soon. Dustin has a new idea for an easy structure that we can build.
  • Please remember to pay dues.
  • If you are available on Monday, September 28th to go to the Cooper Center, we will be volunteering to show 4th grade students the night sky. Please email Kevin if you're interested.
